When things get rough, i realised how much of a support one needs.

Esp at a place where there's no friends, no one you can turn to and whine.
You're on your own. learning to defend & to stand on your own 2 feet.

Guess, as each embarks a different phase, a different transition.
Its just a total different thing afterall.

And that very instant, its just how real reality can be to you.

If you ask me, what am i thinking right now?
Simply put, i wana be independent of man.
Not wanting to draw my encouragment from humans. cause they are imperfect & they will fail us.

But yet again, as time passes, some things or people that takes a significant place, its a challenge to change that fact.

Shrugs. tough time at work.
As much as i know how, as much as i know what to do ..
It just seems to be getting harder on me.

I wana press on to my vision.
I want to believe that, my banana spirit is still alive!

Yet again, its more than just knowing how.
Its an expeience.

And for one thing, something's going to be Over.

Just read a blog.
And rather inspired by it.

Guess, it reminds me the reason of having a blog right from the start.
I wanted to inspire/ encourage those who read my blog.

Guess, overtime, i'm jz back to myself..
Sharing watever tat is on my mind .. how i feel and stuff ..

Perhaps my blog is very public, so some innermost thoughts i cant really share.
Yet, i'm still rather carefree.

As much as being a leader, i'm also a human.
I'm also someone who will go through ups & downtimes in my life ah.
And fortunately, i do have my support around.
People around have been v encouraging. And they believed in me, no matter what.

Just these months out there, i've learnt quite a few lessons.
And indeed the wise sayings of many, be it from the bible or from others, i truly understand.

And one thing for sure, everything happens for a reason.
And i'm sure, one of the reason is for us to relate to others, should they encounter something similar.

A senior shared some memories & advices of a married woman ..

Hmm, somehow i also wish to get married.
Eh, afterall, i aint young already? o.o sobs.

Even as the clock continues to tick, i pray that my youth still remains!

It's at 1 Deg Sentosa Cove.
Heard over there, its limited membership.
And unless you're an invited guest/ a resident, you CANNOT enter!!

For a moment, TRUST is a very important & meaningful word.

Times are tough. Yet no matter what, just gotta keep on keeping on.

When we meet a difficult situation, is either we choose to face it or to run away.

Somehow, i always hold firmly on the belief that, Challenges are there for us to overcome. And our disappointments can be our New Appointment!
Indeed no matter what we face through in life, be it in our daily lives or our spiritual walk, its the SAME!!

'All things will work out good for those who believe in Him.'
Yes! And as i go through this tough period, other than the support from my beloved friends around, its also my conviction that pulled me through.

Guess when you're at your wits end, you can only choose to BELIEVE, and not doubt.

Probably this week, am rather busy.
And i spoke to my colleague and felt that, prob things aint that bad.

Guess... I'm trying to be myself.
Yet like what a friend shared with me, there's a thin fine line being a bubbly person/ being who u are, and sucking up to your bosses.

Guess i just enjoy being myself.
Yet at times, am restrained. cant be that free..

Seriously, if i see people around me smiling cause of what i said, i'll be EVEN higher! .. cause bringing smiles to others, that's my wish.. =D

This statement puts people into thinking.

I only know, love gives. love edifies.
love gives one the strength & ability to go the extra mile.
Love preserves. Love forgives. Love Elevates. Love supports.

Things not done in love, will not have a desireable & impactful result.
Just like i shared, i always pray for a sincere heart.

Cause its with the sincerity, words spoken would just be that sweet & melodious.
Words with love spoken, will just make you feel encouraged & inspired.
Similarly, the truth spoken with love, will make THE difference.

That's the kind of person i wana be ... a Person whose words matter, and be someone who is ALWAYS that sincere & loving.

In reality, am i such?

Life is always full of colour.
Life can be meaningful.

I see friends having happening lives.
Be it at school, or even in the phase of their working lives.

I miss school.
I miss the days i burnt oil with my notes & friends.
I miss those times when we needa rush deadlines.
I miss the times of attending lecture, rushing to school.

I miss those times when i'm younger.
I miss those times when i'd be that carefree with no responsibilities.

Now,

I cherish the relationships around me.
I cherish the time that i have.
I cherish the things i do.
I cherish the opportunities i'm given.

most importantly, i want to make every thing.. every time COUNT.
No longer meeting my needs, but meeting others' needs.
Loving others, as i love myself.
Learning to give & love, with no strings attached.

All in all, banana has grown up.
Turning XX in age, this year.

Yet if i can choose, i choose to preserve the bubbly, innocent side of me.

Often in the bible, Jesus spoke in parables.
Let those who have ears hear. so TRUE can !!

Nowadays, people are also speaking in parables.
some parables are SO modern.
Speaking in 'parables', yet not sure if its edifying or not.

Guess its up to one discretion.
If one's very skeptical/ sensitive about it, guess even ONE word will just make the person uneasy.

Rather, i realised, being too self-defensive/ skeptical, just leaves me away with lesser options. and in time, i'll just not be someone amicable/ relate-able.
